Hello there! I’m Lovey…My obsession with cuteness, comfort, and fun as been the focus of my life and home. Welcome and enjoy as I share my favorite things, cute finds, and the occasional DIY projects: making mom life fun without the stress of trying to do it all.
We have a full house and it’s a continuous project as our family grows. I married a wonderful man, Sam on the first day of Spring 2013 (March 20th) and we have a 2-year-old daughter. We love our adventures and look forward to getting into whatever is fun. We live in beautiful Chicago and there’s so much to do and see here. We love getting to know our neighbors, community, and joining in all kinds of events.
I’m a certified pediatric RN by trade. However, I left practice and received my graduate degree in nursing to teach. I’m currently a SAHM and going to school for my doctorate in education.
I’m a new blogger. I’m excited to share my love for planning, crafts, sewing, and reading, and also, my impromptu projects and adventures. My day is busyness at home but fun is the most important.

I love reading your blog…as I am from Chicago. I moved away to attend college and just never moved back…But my family is still there in Roseland, Gresham and Chatam. Love your pictures…..I will be taking more this year as I plan to come home more. And who misses the ‘Taste?’ Not this girl! One of my friend’s boyfriend’s saw my ‘Taste’ pictures from last year. He saw a picture I took of Buckingham Fountain. Well, the most connection he has had to Chicago was watching reruns of “Married with Children.” He was surprised to know the fountain in the opening credits of the show, was really an actual fountain in a park in Chicago. I love home and all the beauty if offers. Sweet Home Chicago. Yep!
