I absolute love our herb garden. We had a slow start and some losses but I think we have the hang of it. It seems that we have some luck with basil and chives. Our lime tree is thriving well, also.

And since Chicago has been getting continuous spring like temperatures and more than 10 hours of sunlight, I have decided to move all the herbs and lime tree to our East facing window. We already have a family of plants set up there, it’s a little crowded but everyone needs a good amount of sunlight everyday. We’ve been using florescent lights all winter and getting growth but it’s very slow. I’m hoping with the move, the herbs get fuller.
